As one of the few destinations we travel to that the native language is English, Jamaica is also one of the more beautiful. Jamaica is a gorgeous tropical island located 95 miles south of Cuba in the heart of the Caribbean. But with a population of over 2.8 million individuals, the need is just as great as any of the other countries we travel to. Unfortunately, due to the poverty, the lack of education and the declining literacy and numeracy rates, the country is left with endless cycle of unemployment and increased crime.

We have partnered with several organizations with the hopes of making a difference in the country of Jamaica through skateboarding and surfing evangelism. One of those organizations we have partnered with is Splinter Youth Inc. Splinter Youth Inc is a non-profit organization that was founded with the vision to empowering others in successfully establishing authentic skate ministries with the goals to provide a safe, friendly, high quality skate park for skateboarders. With these parks, therefore creating a community or family of skaters who will grow in skill, friendship, character and Christ like maturity together; translating the principals of skating into Biblical truths and encouraging each other through personal example. Splinter Youth Inc directly works in Jamaica with skate camps, skate parks, and empowering others through the world of skateboarding. We have also partnered with the Livin It Alliance and the Luis Palau Association. Each year the Palau Association hosts a festival in Kingston, Jamaica that attracts anywhere from 5,000 – 10,000 attendees. These two day festivals are full of live concerts, a children’s area, a community care area, a skate park featuring professional, world-class skateboarding, BMX and FMX demos, a food court, and opportunities to see your friends and family come to Jesus Christ. With opportunities for surfing and skating outreach, and the advantage of being in a country without a language barrier, we invited you to take part in a trip of a lifetime. Share the gospel through street evangelism, beach evangelism, skate and surf outreach, and community service projects.

*Estimated round trip airfare leaving from Ft. Lauderdale, FL is anywhere from $100-$400 depending on the time of the year.
