Top 10 Ways YOU can make a difference.
1. Pray. We believe that prayer is the most essential and most important thing that we can ask for our organization. We ask that you invest and commit time to praying for the organization daily. We ask that you would pray for wisdom for leadership, guidance for the organization, safety for those involved, and most importantly that the Lord’s will be done.
2. Donate. We rely heavily on financial support and sponsorships from churches and individuals that believe in the mission of our ministry and share a passion to impact the world with the Truth of Christ.
While every gift is a blessing and very much appreciated, it is the strength of our recurring monthly sponsors that bless our organization the most. Through monthly sponsorships we are able to plan accordingly and we can rely and count on your commitment of giving. 3. Shop. Shop from the convenience of your couch and support the ministry at the same time! The purchase of all Ride Nature merchandise helps to support the organization, allowing us to purchase and distribute boards to children all around the world. 4. Stay Informed. Join our e-mail mailing list (email form located at the bottom of our site), “like” us on Facebook, and “follow” us on Twitter.
5. Spread the word. As we continue to grow, raise support, and world to impact the world through action sports, we need your help spreading the world. Though we have received media coverage, radio, tv, and magazine coverage as well it has been our experience that most support comes through word of mouth. One of the easiest ways you can spread the word about what God is doing through Ride Nature is by sharing with others. Proudly represent the organization by wearing a Ride Nature shirt, putting a Ride Nature decal on your car, boat, board, etc. Shop today. Visit our store. Support the cause. You can also help “spread the word” by putting a link/button on your website/blog sending viewers to our site, by suggesting our Facebook page to your friends, or sharing with others our Twitter info. 6. Volunteer. If you are passionate about what Ride Nature is doing to make a difference and you are interested in volunteering to help further our outreach, send us a message at: volunteer@ridenature.com. To discover opportunities for involvement you can always check our Facebook page or blog for upcoming events, fundraisers, trips, updates, and more. We always need volunteers for special events, fundraisers, general office work, and weekly Bible studies. We look forward to working with you soon.
7. Intern. Do you have a passion for missions, music, traveling, action sports, and sharing the Truth? Do you want to be challenged spiritually, grow in your faith, and disciple others? If so, we would love to have you join our team fora 3, 6, or 12 month Internship. Our interns participate and help lead and plan local outreach events, host Bible studies at the skatepark, on the beach, and or at the cablepark. They help lead and coordinate international mission trips, plan fundraisers, raise support, and share the love of Christ during it all. 8. Sponsor a trip. We would like to invite you to sponsor a specific international trip and help support the ministry by covering the cost of transporting donations, paying for outreach projects, supplies, and general expenses of our mission trips. You can also help to support the launching of a skate church internationally by helping to cover the cost of building materials and wood for skate supplies. 9. Give. We are always grateful for contributions other than financial donations. A great contribution that is always needed is boards. Skateboards, wakeboards, surfboards, snowboards, etc. are great for our organization and with every board that is donated we are able to bless the life of a child living in poverty. Clothing, shoes, and school supplies are also a great blessing to our organization. Computers and office equipment, projectors, and other office supplies are greatly appreciated as well. For our annual fundraising banquet we are always in need of donations and gifts to use for our silent auction. Examples include: gift certificates, artwork, action sports gear (surf, snow, skate), vacation packages, etc.
10. Outreach Events. If you would like the Ride Nature organization to help organize and coordinate an outreach event in your area please send us a message at: outreach@ridenature.com. Through action sports outreach and events we can come alongside your church or ministry to impact your community with the Truth of Christ. Through concerts, skate contests, surf contests, video premieres, or other outreach events, we can work alongside you to reach out to the community and plug them into your local church for continued discipleship and follow up.
