Costa Rica is a country with a population of approx. 4 million individuals. On an annual average the country sees an astonishing 2 million tourists each and every year with 21% of those being surf related. Many of the children and youth of Costa Rica, live out their days watching as tourist come to their country and take part in an activity they may never have the opportunity to experience. It is our goal to use surfing and skating in Costa Rica to build a common bond and relationship with the purpose of sharing the message of Jesus Christ. We have partnered with several local skate ministries, YWAM, and Christian Surfers to reach the youth of Costa Rica for Jesus Christ. Through surf and skate outreach and evangelism, it is our goal is to show children the beauty of God’s perfect creation and the true love that He has for each of them. In a country with growing crime, drug, and poverty rates, we feel blessed to have partnered with so many amazing ministries to bring the Light into a dark, yet beautiful country.
