With a vision and dream that is growing daily, the Ride Nature organization is just beginning to scratch the surface of our long term goals. Our hope is to continue growing, targeting more locations, bringing more boards, and continue impacting more and more lives of individuals all around the world.
An Action Sports Gospel Presentation Film. We are currently working with some of action sport’s biggest Christian athletes to produce a film very much like the Jesus Film that will share the Gospel of Christ through action sports footage, testimonies, and scripture. The film will be translated into numerous languages and made available for free through itunes, our website, and to download online as an outreach tool that will be available for missionaries and leaders around the world. We are currently in the process of further fundraising for this project, and as we have already raised $30,000 which has been a HUGE answer to prayer, the cost to translate it into additional languages will require additional future fundraising. Each additional language that we translate the film into will cost approx. $3,000. We are hoping to have this film translated into 10 languages by the end of 2012. This is a project we have been praying about for approx. 2 years now and we have huge hopes and dreams for this film that it will impact the lives of millions around the world as something like this has never been created! Financial Need for Translations: $30,000 (10 NEW Languages)
Jaco Beach Youth Center. We are currently in the prayer/fundraising stages to build a community outreach center that we hope to begin working on in early 2013. Through several trips to Jaco Beach, Costa Rica the Lord has laid it on our heart to reach out to this city on a more permanent scale. As sex trafficking, prostitution, and drugs are growing out of control in Costa Rica, especially in Jaco Beach (a huge tourist city) we are hoping to build a youth center in this city that will be a safe place of shelter for the kids of the community. With tutoring, Bible studies, English classes, a skatepark, and surfboards and skimboards available for use all day, we are praying that this center will be a long lasting influence on the city of Jaco and the youth growing up in that community. Something like this will be completely new for Jaco and we truly believe it will have extreme power to change lives through the Truth of Christ! The Rooted Tour. We are also in the beginning stages for planning the first annual Ride Nature “Rooted Tour” which will combine the world of music, action sports, art, community outreach events and more for 2 full days and a 6 location summer tour that we believe will attract people of all ages. We will be partnering up with local churches, bands, fellow ministries, and professional athletes from all around the world to share where we have ALL put down our “Roots”.
A Permanent Facility in Naples. As the organization is growing, the outreach opportunities and the needs are growing as well. Based in Naples, FL a city sitting on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, with 6 skateparks within 20 miles, and countless opportunities for ministry we have been praying about launching a youth center in Naples that would serve as a store front to generate revenue for the organization, a donation center, a safe place for the youth to come and hang out to be mentored, as a location for regular outreach, and head quarters for the ministry.
